Kai is Professor of Information Technology and Organisation in the Discipline of Business Information Systems. He has extensive experience with industry-funded research and leads the School’s strategic research initiative on Enterprise 2.0 and Corporate Social Media. He is the founder and leader of the Digital Disruption Research Group and organiser of the DISRUPT.SYDNEY conference.
His expertise spans the fields of E-Collaboration, social media, Enterprise 2.0, inter-firm networking, virtual work, and the philosophy of technology. In a recent series of projects he studies the proliferation of Enterprise Social Networking in various Australian organisations and the resulting management implications with a view to understand better how people make sense of new technologies in practice.

Vaylee has worked in the information management industry for over 15 years. Her experience spans across business analysis, solution design, system testing and implementation. Some of the projects she has worked on include intranet redesigns, implementation of content and document management systems, conducting user experience research and in her latest role she leads the enterprise search initiative at Sydney Water. Vaylee has a passion for analysing data, understanding user behaviour and believes that these are key factors in delivering good search experiences and great business value.

Bernie is a Research and Development Team Coach at Atlassian revelling in the curly questions that get to the heart of team performance. Bernie helped pioneer the Atlassian Team Playbook, which has been built and opened sourced to enable teams to scale by being ruthlessly effective in working through the why, what, when, and how they do what they do in delivering customer focused product experiences.
Bernie has 15+ years experience working in Agile teams at scale with many a battle scar and story to share.

Allan founded the Hargraves Institute in 2006 as a knowledge hub for complex organisations to collaborated and solve tough problems through innovation and collaboration. Hargraves with over 100 members and alumni is Australia’s largest community on innovation practitioners, facilitators and coaches.

Iain Barker is a human-centred designer, co-founder of Meld Studios, trainer and qualified director (GAICD) with over 20 years experience helping organisations use customer insights to inform and lead change that drives value for customers, staff and other stakeholders.
Starting in digital channels during the dot-com boom in London, Iain quickly realised that digital alone can’t solve an organisation’s problems. He realised it is critical to understand the needs and behaviours of people and to use these insights as an additional data point to inform strategic decision-making.
Iain is passionate about enthusing others with the power of human-centred design. He has spoken at various conferences in Australia, the USA and Europe. He is currently leading Meld Studios’ design capability building team.

Andrew likes to bring ideas to life with technology. He is a delivery professional excelling in a range of challenging roles and provides leadership in innovative practices. He has developed expertise in the delivery of large complex products and is recognised in industry as a thought leader in lean/agile delivery models, particularly in approaches to scaling teams.
Being the founder of Smallcloud Consulting, he works with startups to help them scale and grow, and with corporations to help them adopt the essence of a startup. An intense pragmatist, his tolerance for fluff consulting is limited and works authentically with his clients. He provides delivery consultancy across the product lifecycle, niche recruitment and capability development.
